Here’s my deal right now: If Hillary gets nominated (or even if Obama does), I will write in Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel. More importantly, I am now going totally grass root, and will start an independent campaign for Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel right now!
Jim Webb is too beltway, and too well connected. Ramsey Clark shows zero interest in running. I think Gore has way too many heavy connections. Nader has a number of complicated issues. And I have too many doubts about the electability of a black woman (Cynthia McKinney). So, it’s Kucinich And Gravel, I think.
I fear that the financial and military situation for the U.S.A. will soon become so dire that people will flock to Kucinich and Gravel — regardless of who wins the Twin Party primaries. So we need to start this grass roots effort now, even if Kucinich and Gravel object to it!

Hi Blues, first visit to your site. If someone put a gun to my head and told me to pick the best candidates in order:
McKinney
Gravel
Kucinich
Paul
If they then told me to pick the most electable, I’d have to reverse the order.
Then I’d karate-kick the gun out of their hand, catch it in the air and try to figure out why they chose to conduct polling data at gunpoint !
Seriously, Kucinich/Gravel both have the best overall platforms. Especially domestically. But like I’ve wrote on Elaine’s great site (and offended some people but I don’t care about that) the war, and specifically the deaths of the victims of the war , are my major concern. And I think Paul has a puncher’s chance of getting elected. Some of things I’ve read, pictures I’ve seen, speaking with a nephew who recently got back, I am so heartbroken and sickened by the deaths of the Iraqis/Afghanis that it’s the only issue I care about now. I guess it’s analogous to someone who sees abortion or gun control or “family values” or burning the flag as an issue and focuses only on that one issue. I understand that, but can’t get around it. Maybe not making sense here. But I totally respect your thoughts and actions here. Just thought I’d share a few thoughts man.
